Holiday accommodation in Kos
Kos is a firm favourite amongst holidaymakers and it is easy to see why. The island is blessed with many sandy beaches, great nightlife and, for those seeking to get away from it all, important historical sites and tranquil mountains. Kos Town is a place where the old and new meet. There is a castle built by the Knights of St John in the 15th century and either side of the town there are great stretches of beach. North of the harbour is the place to be after dark, with enough bars, clubs and tavernas to keep even the most energetic party goer busy until dawn.
Those seeking a quieter resort might choose Tingaki or Psalidi, both have sandy beaches. Families often like Kardamena because the shallow water is great for kids.
Sailing around the Dodecanese Islands is wonderful and Kos is no exception.
Kos has good flight and ferry connections.
