Holiday accommodation in Andros
This island boasts 200 beaches. It is the greenest of the Cyclades islands due to its many walnut, citrus, olive and fig trees and its high quality natural spring water. The island is about 2 hours from the Port of Rafina (which itself is about 30mins from the new airport of Athens)
Andros combines traditional villages and a rich cultural heritage with a cosmopolitan streak. In Hora there is a museum of modern art (which hosts exhibitions of the work of well known artists), an Archaeological Museum and a Naval Museum.
The Cyclades Islands are great for sailing and Andros is no exception. Water sports are available on many of the beaches and there are plenty of half-hidden coves and beaches only accessible by boat.
