Holiday accommodation in Kozani
The capital of Kozani prefecture is Kozani town. The history of this town can be seen in its remaining traditional Macedonian mansions and beautiful churches, and their internal fittings, especially the frescoes and intricately carved wooden icon screens. Kozani is also the home of the Historical Folk Museum and the Natural History Museum of Kozani.

The Christian tradition can also seen in the Analipsi monastery where nuns make handwoven rugs and embroidery work. Traditional handicrafts are also made in Velvendo, a village characteristic of the region.

In the village of Aghia Paraskevi there is an Early Christian Basilica that has colourful floor mosiacs depicting animals and birds.
