The prefecture of Fokida in Central Greece invites the inquistive traveller, on the trail for ancient remains; surrounded by myth and legend. The main attraction of the area is the world famous Delphi, where the ancients used to consult the oracle. Delphi also boasts an archaeological museum. (Please note : Delphi is not suitable for those with walking difficulites).

The sea laps beaches in the villages of Kira and Itea, and other intimate seaside villages. The traditional shipbuilding port of Galaxidi offers seafront tavernas serving flavoursome locally caught fish.
