Holiday accommodation in Aegina
Aegina is an island close to Pireaus and so is easy accessible by hydrofoil or ferry. The island has some nice beaches, a folklore museum and sites of archaeological importance.
The Afaia temple, built in the 8th century BC, amazingly forms an equilateral triangle with the temple of Poseidon in Sounion and the Acropolis in Athens, across the sea.
Sailing around the Saronic Gulf Islands is wonderful and Aegina is no exception. Mooring, water and fuel are available in Aegina harbour.
